About the Author
Doug White has worked with charities for 25 years as an employee, consultant, trustee, volunteer and donor. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the National Committee on Planned Giving, where he founded Leave a Legacy®, a national initiative that promotes planned giving. He is the author of the award-winning The Art of Planned Giving: Understanding Donors and the Culture of Giving (Wiley, 1996) and is an adjunct instructor in ethics and fundraising at New York University.
