About

I have an obsession with developing great ideas and an even greater passion for writing about them. Since 2006 as CausePlanet’s founder, I kept community leaders apprised of unique methods and proven practices with leadership training and my Page to Practice™ book summary library.

Vetting and synthesizing hundreds of business books for my CausePlanet community naturally developed my understanding of what makes a business concept or framework not only applicable but compelling. My focus on arming leaders with exceptional resources inspires me to write for authors and innovators as they develop ideas and bring them to market.

Today, the spirit of CausePlanet lives on in many ways. The most obvious is how I serve my clients. The content and promotions I once provided for an entire community of authors are now the foundation of the writing and strategy I currently provide my clients.

Additionally, when I made the decision to focus entirely on individuals and close CausePlanet’s online doors, I elected to move the store here. So many authors and thought leaders informed my work today that I felt compelled to bring them along for the next chapter in my career. This is a small slice of what was once part of a robust offering that included on-site training, live interviews, collaborative programming, and fruitful partnerships.

Authors, entrepreneurs, and leaders from many professions and industries now make up my client universe. It’s a privilege to work with every one of them. They each share a desire to make their corner of the world a better place, which is why my work is so personally energizing. Clifton Strengths (formerly known as Strengthsfinder) tells me that I’m a relator and a maximizer and that I prioritize individualization.

As a relator, I enjoy listening to clients to understand their goals, fears, and dreams because that helps me provide authentic messaging. As a maximizer, it’s a thrill to identify the talents in the professionals I work with and help them lean into opportunities they don’t immediately recognize. And as someone who has a penchant for individualization, I also revel in helping clients share their real-life stories so readers see themselves in the personal messages and engage with calls to action.

When I’m not tinkering with a story or coaching a client on their content strategy, I’m outside walking, cycling, or pickleballing in beautiful Colorado.
